Is WinX right for a very small property (e.g. a few-room homestay)?

Usually not. WinX is built for multi-outlet or multi-module operations — hotels, resorts, parks, spa, F&B, finance, and groups. A single small B&B with no POS or accounting needs may be better served by a lightweight tool. We will say so on a discovery call rather than oversell.

Does WinX support multi-property management?

Yes. WinX is built on a multi-property architecture from day one. A single installation supports unlimited properties with property-specific configurations, shared staff access across authorised properties, and consolidated GL balancing for group reporting.

Is WinX cloud or on-premise?

What types of POS outlets does WinX support?

Restaurant POS (table management), Fast Food POS (touch UI, quick billing), Retail POS (barcode, label print), Theme Park POS (ticket sales, passes), and Spa POS. All outlet types post charges directly to the hotel folio.

Can WinX handle theme parks alongside hotel operations?

Yes — that is one of WinX's defining strengths. A single login manages hotel rooms, F&B outlets, ticketed attractions, kiosks, turnstile access, and Evalue digital wallet, with consolidated reporting across all venues.

Does WinX have mobile apps?

Yes. WinX includes four purpose-built mobile applications — Hotel Staff App, POS/Waiter App, Fast Food App, and Guest App — covering front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, F&B servers, counter staff, and guest self-service.

Is WinX compliant with Malaysian e-Invoice (MyInvois)?

What is CAPEX vs OPEX for a WinX project?

CAPEX (capital spend) usually covers the perpetual software license, implementation milestones (install, training, migration, go-live), and any servers or cloud infrastructure you choose. OPEX (ongoing spend) is support & maintenance (annual or quarterly per contract), plus hosting or third-party fees you opt into. WinX is MySQL-based — you typically avoid Microsoft SQL Server and per-seat database licensing required by many legacy enterprise stacks.

Can WinX lower my total investment vs separate PMS, POS, and finance vendors?

We do not publish a fixed “% cheaper” on the website. Scope-for-scope, one platform often reduces duplicate servers, paid interfaces, SQL licensing, and multiple annual renewals compared with a leading multi-vendor mix. How does WinX handle room availability vs allotment blocks?

WinX uses real-time availability on one database — front office, group blocks, and reporting share a live room pool instead of separate allotment blocks reconciled at night audit. That cuts mismatch between sell strategy and what staff see. Oversell rules are property-configurable; the focus is accurate live counts, not uncontrolled overbooking.

Does WinX support group chart of accounts and consolidation?

Yes. Template COA sets and multiple readable reporting hierarchies (operations, management, consolidation) suit hotel groups — not only a short flat account-code list. HQ, resort, purchasing centre, or overseas property can run on one WinX stack with property-scoped access and group GL roll-up. Statutory layouts are confirmed in your discovery scope.
